Cementitious waterproofing by crystallisation. VOLSEAL 200 is a single component, surface applied material, which waterproofs and protects concrete in-depth. It consists of grey Portland cement, specially treated quartz sand and a compound of active chemicals. VOLSEAL 200 is supplied in powder form in 25kg tubs, and needs only to be mixed with clean water prior to application.
When VOLSEAL 200 is applied to concrete surfaces, the active chemicals combine with the free lime and moisture present in the capillary track to form insoluble crystalline complexes. These crystals block the capillaries and minor shrinkage cracks in the concrete to prevent any further water ingress, even under hydrostatic pressure. In addition to waterproofing the structure, VOLSEAL 200 protects concrete against seawater, wastewater, aggressive ground water and certain chemical solutions. VOLSEAL 200 is not a decorative material.
Applications:
To provide waterproofing continuity across the top of structural foundation surfaces such pad foundations, pile caps, ground beam etc., where active CETCO waterproofing membranes cannot be installed.
Limitations:
NOTE. Do not apply VOLSEAL 200 at temperatures below +5°C. Volseal 200 cannot be used as an additive to concrete or plaster / render etc.

1. Delivery Timescales
We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.
Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.
Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details)
2. Delivery Fee Structure:
All orders, excluding those containing products covered in section 3 below, will be subject to the below delivery fee structure:
- Total order weight is between 0kg and 10kg = £7.99 standard delivery fee
- Total order weight is between 10kg and 20kg = £12.99 standard delivery fee
- Total order weight is between 20kg and 75kg = £20 standard delivery fee
- Total order weight is 75kg and above = £60 large order delivery fee
- Total order value exceeds £500 (regardless of weight) = Free delivery
3. Exclusions
The delivery fees detailed above apply to all orders, excluding:
- Orders containing insulation will be charged at £60 per pallet (10 units per pallet). Please get in touch with us directly for pricing and ordering.
- Orders containing protection boards: A large order delivery fee of £60 will be applied.
- Orders containing membranes of two metres wide and above: The delivery fee will be calculated as a price per unit*.

- Once the total order weight exceeds 75kg then the £60 large order fee will automatically be applied
- Once the total order value exceeds £500 then the free delivery policy will automatically be applied
4. Geographical Areas
The above delivery fees apply to all postcodes in mainland England, Wales and Scotland.
For deliveries to Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Scottish Isles, and any international orders please get in touch with the BaseTec team directly by email or phone for a custom delivery price. Standard delivery timescales do not apply to these areas and will be advised on request.
Additional charges, including customs fees, duties, or taxes may apply for international orders.
