The Newton CDM BaseDrain Inspection Port Kit is for inspection and maintenance access to the drainage system. The kit includes the components to create four access and inspection ports. The drainage system includes a range of products (listed below) for creating a continuous drainage conduit that collectively receives water ingress.

The Newton CDM BaseDrain Inspection Port Kit is for inspection and maintenance access to the drainage system.

The kit includes the required components to create four access and inspection ports, including:

4 x Basedrain Ports
4 x Port End Caps
1 x 2-metre length of Ducting

Each inspection port also requires a Newton CDM BaseDrain Inspection Port 90° Bend which is designed to fit the inspection port kit and provide access to the BaseDrain drainage conduit for the purposes of inspections, servicing and maintenance. Must be ordered as a separate item.

The inspection port kit is a component of the BaseDrain drainage system within the Newton CDM ‘Type C’ system for cavity drain waterproofing. The drainage system comprises of a range of BaseDrain and FloorDrain products (listed below) that are used to create a continuous drainage conduit that collectively receives water ingressing at weaknesses within the structure. The water is then discharged to a Newton Sump and Pump System for safe removal from the below-ground area.

Components and Applications:

Newton CDM BaseDrain Drainage Channels – 2-metre lengths of drainage conduit for the perimeter of the area to be waterproofed, that is situated at the base of the wall membrane.
Newton CDM FloorDrain – 2-metre lengths of drainage conduit for collection of water at the construction joint to the floor and to replace BaseDrain at door thresholds. FloorDrain is also used to connect the perimeter BaseDrain to the sump chamber.
Newton CDM BaseDrain Corner – Formed 90 degree corner for connecting lengths of BaseDrain or FloorDrain
Newton CDM BaseDrain Connector – For neatly connecting consecutive BaseDrain or FloorDrain pieces.
Newton CDM BaseDrain T-Piece Drainage Channel Junction – Formed T-piece for a 90 degree connection to the FloorDrain from the BaseDrain.
Newton CDM BaseDrain Adaptor – For connecting drainage channels to 63mm pipe into the sump chamber.
Newton CDM BaseDrain Inspection Port Kit – Includes inspection ports, end caps and ducting for easy inspection and maintenance access to the drainage system at future service intervals

1. Delivery Timescales

We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.

Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.

Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details)

2. Delivery Fee Structure:

All orders, excluding those containing products covered in section 3 below, will be subject to the below delivery fee structure:

Total order weight is between 0kg and 10kg = £7.99 standard delivery fee
Total order weight is between 10kg and 20kg = £12.99 standard delivery fee
Total order weight is between 20kg and 75kg = £20 standard delivery fee
Total order weight is 75kg and above = £60 large order delivery fee
Total order value exceeds £500 (regardless of weight) = Free delivery

3. Exclusions

The delivery fees detailed above apply to all orders, excluding:

Orders containing insulation will be charged at £60 per pallet (10 units per pallet). Please get in touch with us directly for pricing and ordering.
Orders containing protection boards: A large order delivery fee of £60 will be applied.
Orders containing membranes of two metres wide and above: The delivery fee will be calculated as a price per unit*.

Once the total order weight exceeds 75kg then the £60 large order fee will automatically be applied
Once the total order value exceeds £500 then the free delivery policy will automatically be applied

4. Geographical Areas

The above delivery fees apply to all postcodes in mainland England, Wales and Scotland.

For deliveries to Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Scottish Isles, and any international orders please get in touch with the BaseTec team directly by email or phone for a custom delivery price. Standard delivery timescales do not apply to these areas and will be advised on request.
