BaseTec Products

BaseTec is a national distributor of construction products from a range of well-known brands & manufacturers. BaseTec offers an excellent service from start to finish, using our own fleet of delivery vehicles alongside a nationwide courier service, covering all of mainland UK. Our online shop is easy to use and navigate, and our friendly and experienced staff are available to provide expert advice and support by email, via the website, or over the phone.

To create a free account, go to the My Account area from the top of the page, then select ‘Register Now’. Once you have completed your personal details and added a secure new password, your free account will be open and available straight away.

After placing your first order and adding your billing and delivery details, you will be able to save and access all account information, order history, payment methods, downloaded documents and addresses via the My Account area.

These details will be saved in your account area to make future orders as quick and easy as possible, but don’t worry, your details are safe and secure and only you have access to your account.

Once you have created and logged into your BaseTec account, you can amend your account details, add/amend payment methods and addresses all from the My Account dashboard.

Our website enables you to search our wide range of specialist construction products either by category or by brand – navigate to the top of the page to view all products via the main menu options.

Alternatively, you can use the search bar and type in a particular product or brand you are looking for.

All your personal information including card details and passwords are encrypted and only the account holder has access to this information. BaseTec will only contact you regarding any orders/deliveries you have due to be delivered if we need to contact you for more information, or to keep you updated on the delivery progress.

BaseTec will only contact you via email if you subscribe to our newsletter.

Placing An Order

We accept payments via Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

All orders being delivered on the BaseTec fleet of delivery vans will be trackable via a delivery link sent directly to the email registered to the order. The tracking email will be sent when your items have been despatched and will provide an estimated time slot for your delivery.

Live order tracking is not currently available for orders being delivered on our national courier partners, however if you need an update you can contact a member of the BaseTec team and we will get an update on your order for you.

Delivery

We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions – see the full details on our Delivery page). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will endeavour to keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.

Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.

Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied – see the Delivery page for full details.

The normal lead time for deliveries is 1-3 working days.

If your delivery hasn’t arrived after 3 working days and we haven’t been in touch, please contact a member of the team to provide an update on your order.

Yes, however for any deliveries outside of the mainland UK, please contact a member of the BaseTec team directly instead of placing an order via the website. We will be happy to create a bespoke quote for your order.

Cancellations, Refunds and Returns

If you wish to cancel or amend an order, please contact a member of the BaseTec team as soon as possible.

If your order hasn’t been despatched, we can cancel or amend the order before it is sent to you. However, if your order has already been despatched or delivered, please refer to our Returns Policy for further information.

We understand that sometimes products may need to be returned; in this case, our Returns Policy provides full guidance on acceptable reasons for making a return, and how to go about returning products.

Refunds can take up to a maximum of 30 days, but we will endeavour to have refunds resolved and paid back before the 30 days are up.

Unfortunately, there are no gift cards or vouchers available at the moment.

To unsubscribe from marketing emails, please select the unsubscribe link towards the bottom of the e-mail, or alternatively, contact the BaseTec team directly to ask for your details to be removed from our database.
