Proctor Protech VOC Flex Starter Band has a dual function to provide a continuous barrier to gas. Functioning as a DPC within the wall, in certain applications there is no requirement for any additional DPC or protection. Protech VOC Flex Starter Bnd is 1m x 50m.

The Protech VOC Flex Starter Band has a dual function, to provide a continuous barrier to gas which is then linked in with the horizontal gas membrane and it will also function as a DPC within the wall.

The Starter Band goes through the cavity with an architectural DPC or cavity tray which should be fixed with Protech GM Tape in order to stop a creation of a slip plane. On a solid wall internal wall construction there is no requirement for any additional DPC or protection to the Starter Band. When used in a cavity wall a separate cavity tray or architectural DPC is recommended to protection the spanning section of the Starter Band from damage from mortar snots and other debris created during construction. This cavity tray would be installed in the same course and fixed to Protech GM Tape again to prevent a creation of a slip plane.

1. Delivery Timescales

We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.

Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.

Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details)

2. Delivery Fee Structure:

All orders, excluding those containing products covered in section 3 below, will be subject to the below delivery fee structure:

Total order weight is between 0kg and 10kg = £7.99 standard delivery fee
Total order weight is between 10kg and 20kg = £12.99 standard delivery fee
Total order weight is between 20kg and 75kg = £20 standard delivery fee
Total order weight is 75kg and above = £60 large order delivery fee
Total order value exceeds £500 (regardless of weight) = Free delivery

3. Exclusions

The delivery fees detailed above apply to all orders, excluding:

Orders containing insulation will be charged at £60 per pallet (10 units per pallet). Please get in touch with us directly for pricing and ordering.
Orders containing protection boards: A large order delivery fee of £60 will be applied.
Orders containing membranes of two metres wide and above: The delivery fee will be calculated as a price per unit*.

Once the total order weight exceeds 75kg then the £60 large order fee will automatically be applied

4. Geographical Areas

The above delivery fees apply to all postcodes in mainland England, Wales and Scotland.

For deliveries to Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Scottish Isles, and any international orders please get in touch with the BaseTec team directly by email or phone for a custom delivery price. Standard delivery timescales do not apply to these areas and will be advised on request.
