Tekinject AC FLEX is a very elastic, acrylic based injection system. Designed for crack and joint sealing, consolidation in the presence of water and the (re)injection of hoses and membranes.

TEKINJECT AC FLEX is an injection system designed for sealing cracks and joints in concrete. Due to its very low viscosity (equivalent of water) it can be used to seal the finest cracks. Setting time can be adjusted accordingly, which guarantees sealing in a variety of applications, including:

  • Sealing of cracks (from 0.05mm up to 4mm, depending on the strength of the counter pressure)
  • Sealing of joints (recommended use of the TEKINJECT AC POLYMER)
  • Curtain injection beneath slabs or brickwork in order to re-establish the waterproofing capabilities of the structure
  • Injection of (re)injectable hoses
  • Injection of failed membrane systems or injectable membrane systems
  • Soil consolidation and creation of waterproof barriers

Properties:

  • Good chemical resistance against many acids, bases, solvents, and fuels (check chemical resistance list)
  • Non-toxic: does not contain acrylamide, methacrylamide, formaldehyde or solvents
  • Non-flammable
  • Excellent adhesion on mineral building materials such as concrete, cement and brick
  • Variable reaction time from few seconds to several minutes.
  • High water retention capacity: when the injected cracks dry out due to temperature or ground water level fluctuations the gel will not crack easily
  • The cured gel has excellent durability in wet-dry cycles

TEKINJECT AC FLEX is supplied with the TEKINJECT AC POLYMER component, which creates an extremely elastic and durable gel designed for sealing structures and substrates where more flexibility is required or in case of fluctuating water tables.

The TEKINJECT AC POLYMER component needs to be added the TEKINJECT AC injection systems in case of:

  • Sealing of joints, certainly when adequate movement is observed in the joint
  • Curtain injection beneath slabs or brickwork in order to re-establish the waterproofing capabilities of the structure in case of fluctuating water tables
  • Soil consolidation and creation of horizontal barriers in case of fluctuating water tables

1. Delivery Timescales

We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.

Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.

Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details)

2. Delivery Fee Structure:

All orders, excluding those containing products covered in section 3 below, will be subject to the below delivery fee structure:

  1. Total order weight is between 0kg and 10kg = £7.99 standard delivery fee
  2. Total order weight is between 10kg and 20kg = £12.99 standard delivery fee
  3. Total order weight is between 20kg and 75kg = £20 standard delivery fee
  4. Total order weight is 75kg and above = £60 large order delivery fee
  5. Total order value exceeds £500 (regardless of weight) = Free delivery

3. Exclusions

The delivery fees detailed above apply to all orders, excluding:

  1. Orders containing insulation will be charged at £65 per pallet (10 units per pallet). Please get in touch with us directly for pricing and ordering.
  2. Orders containing protection boards: A large order delivery fee of £60 will be applied.
  3. Orders containing membranes of two metres wide and above: The delivery fee will be calculated as a price per unit*.

4. Geographical Areas

The above delivery fees apply to all postcodes in mainland England, Wales and Scotland.

For deliveries to Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Scottish Isles, and any international orders please get in touch with the BaseTec team directly by email or phone for a custom delivery price. Standard delivery timescales do not apply to these areas and will be advised on request.

Additional charges, including customs fees, duties, or taxes may apply for international orders.
