The 40m2 Newtonite non-meshed membrane damp proofing pack is a complete damp proofing kit. This kit includes all of the necessary damp proofing products, fixings, tapes and tools to install 40m2 of Newtonite damp proofing membrane.
Newton Newtonite is a high-quality, 2m x 20m damp proof membrane used as an alternative where a meshed surface is not required. Quick to apply, rot-proof and easy to use, Newtonite is typically used where the wall finish to the damp-proof membrane is timber battens, a dry-lining frame, or block wall.

Typical Applications
- As a damp-proof membrane to isolate the wall finish from the damp wall where a meshed surface for plaster or render is not required
- Newton Newtonite is typically used where the wall finish to the damp-proof membrane is timber battens, a dry-lining frame or block wall
- Newton Newtonite is 0.5mm thick and has a pattern of raised 3mm studs. The studs face the wall and create air channels that allow for vapour equalisation to take place between the membrane and the wall
- Newton Newtonite is light, clean and easy to handle. It can be cut with a sharp knife, scissors or shears
- The membrane is inert and is highly resistant to water, alkalis, saline solutions and organic acids, and it is not affected by minerals. It is also resistant to bacteria, fungi and other small organisms
Newton Newtonite is guaranteed against deterioration for 30 years, and has a life expectancy of at least 50 years (DIN 9001:2000).

1. Delivery Timescales
We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.
Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.
Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details)
2. Delivery Fee Structure:
All orders, excluding those containing products covered in section 3 below, will be subject to the below delivery fee structure:
- Total order weight is between 0kg and 10kg = £7.99 standard delivery fee
- Total order weight is between 10kg and 20kg = £12.99 standard delivery fee
- Total order weight is between 20kg and 75kg = £20 standard delivery fee
- Total order weight is 75kg and above = £60 large order delivery fee
- Total order value exceeds £500 (regardless of weight) = Free delivery
3. Exclusions
The delivery fees detailed above apply to all orders, excluding:
- Orders containing insulation will be charged at £65 per pallet (10 units per pallet). Please get in touch with us directly for pricing and ordering.
- Orders containing protection boards: A large order delivery fee of £60 will be applied.
- Orders containing membranes of two metres wide and above: The delivery fee will be calculated as a price per unit*.

The above delivery fees apply to all postcodes in mainland England, Wales and Scotland.
For deliveries to Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Scottish Isles, and any international orders please get in touch with the BaseTec team directly by email or phone for a custom delivery price. Standard delivery timescales do not apply to these areas and will be advised on request.
