ARDEX DPM 1 C is a one coat damp proof membrane and residual moisture suppressant, in a 25kg container. Apply DPM 1 C to protect the floor covering from residual construction moisture and ground bearing moisture. Ideal for use where there is no functioning structural DPM.

One Coat Damp Proof Membrane and Residual Moisture Suppressant. ARDEX DPM 1 C is a one coat, solvent free, low viscosity, two component epoxy resin. After hardening, ARDEX DPM 1 C produces a membrane which can accommodate hygrometer readings up to 98% with high inherent bond strength. ARDEX DPM 1 C has excellent resistance to water, grease, oil, aqueous salt solution and dilute mineral and organic acids.

Uses: 

ARDEX DPM 1 C has been specifically developed to provide either a damp proof membrane, or to suppress residual moisture in concrete slabs and cement/sand screeds which are well compacted and sound, where readings of up to 98% RH are measured. ARDEX DPM 1 C can be used as a damp proof membrane that deals with damp concrete where a structural damp proof membrane is not present or is ineffective, with the risk of ground bearing moisture. A thinner application may be used to suppress residual moisture in concrete slabs and cement/sand screeds which are well compacted and sound, where readings of up to 92% RH are measured. See table opposite for details.

ARDEX DPM 1 C is suitable for use on Calcium Sulphate screeds up to 90% RH, subject to the criteria below. ARDEX DPM 1 C is suitable for heated concrete and cement/sand screeds. The surface temperature should not exceed 27°C in accordance with BS 8203 and BS 5325.

Packaging: 

6kg, 10kg and 25kg units of ARDEX DPM 1C are supplied in pre-gauged metal duo containers. The hardener (Component B) is in the small container and the resin (Component A) is in the large container with room to mix in the hardener (Component B).

1. Delivery Timescales

We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.

Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.

Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details)

2. Delivery Fee Structure:

All orders, excluding those containing products covered in section 3 below, will be subject to the below delivery fee structure:

  1. Total order weight is between 0kg and 10kg = £7.99 standard delivery fee
  2. Total order weight is between 10kg and 20kg = £12.99 standard delivery fee
  3. Total order weight is between 20kg and 75kg = £20 standard delivery fee
  4. Total order weight is 75kg and above = £60 large order delivery fee
  5. Total order value exceeds £500 (regardless of weight) = Free delivery

3. Exclusions

The delivery fees detailed above apply to all orders, excluding:

  1. Orders containing insulation will be charged at £60 per pallet (10 units per pallet). Please get in touch with us directly for pricing and ordering.
  2. Orders containing protection boards: A large order delivery fee of £60 will be applied.
  3. Orders containing membranes of two metres wide and above: The delivery fee will be calculated as a price per unit*.

*Please note that, for orders containing membranes of two metres wide and above:

  1. Once the total order weight exceeds 75kg then the £60 large order fee will automatically be applied
  2. Once the total order value exceeds £500 then the free delivery policy will automatically be applied

4. Geographical Areas

The above delivery fees apply to all postcodes in mainland England, Wales and Scotland.

For deliveries to Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Scottish Isles, and any international orders please get in touch with the BaseTec team directly by email or phone for a custom delivery price. Standard delivery timescales do not apply to these areas and will be advised on request.

Additional charges, including customs fees, duties, or taxes may apply for international orders.
