Winkler BC Seal Band is a self adhesive band based on butylic mastic covered with non-woven which allows the deformation of the product. The adhesive side is protected by peel off support.
USE FIELDS
Sealing wall-to-floor joints on cementitious substrates, bricks, asbestos cement, metal or tiled flooring before applying liquid or cement waterproofing products from WINKLER range. The non-woven fabric covering adapts to the shape of the support, can be easily shaped to fit corners, drains, pipes etc. where can be used in combination with BC SEAL PAD.
APPLICATION
Remove the protection, put the band on the support avoiding the formation of air bubbles between the butyl and the support. For joints superimpose the products of at least 5 cm. For sealing substrates subject to significant expansion, it is recommended to provide a method of application of BC SEAL BAND, suitable to withstand such tensions. For example, in the case of overlapping between corrugated sheets, apply the two edges of the strip on the portions of the sheet to be connected, leaving the central part free, thus creating an “ omega”. Apply at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.
USEFUL ADVICE
Prior the application it is advisable to restore any irregularities on the surface, glue any detached tiles and check for hidden humidity to avoid the formation of vapor tensions. Avoid use when rainy weather is imminent and on wet surfaces. Cover the product within 24 hours, after its application.

1. Delivery Timescales
We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.
Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.
Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details)
2. Delivery Fee Structure:
All orders, excluding those containing products covered in section 3 below, will be subject to the below delivery fee structure:
- Total order weight is between 0kg and 10kg = £7.99 standard delivery fee
- Total order weight is between 10kg and 20kg = £12.99 standard delivery fee
- Total order weight is between 20kg and 75kg = £20 standard delivery fee
- Total order weight is 75kg and above = £60 large order delivery fee
- Total order value exceeds £500 (regardless of weight) = Free delivery
3. Exclusions
The delivery fees detailed above apply to all orders, excluding:
- Orders containing insulation will be charged at £60 per pallet (10 units per pallet). Please get in touch with us directly for pricing and ordering.
- Orders containing protection boards: A large order delivery fee of £60 will be applied.
- Orders containing membranes of two metres wide and above: The delivery fee will be calculated as a price per unit*.

4. Geographical Areas
The above delivery fees apply to all postcodes in mainland England, Wales and Scotland.
For deliveries to Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Scottish Isles, and any international orders please get in touch with the BaseTec team directly by email or phone for a custom delivery price. Standard delivery timescales do not apply to these areas and will be advised on request.
Additional charges, including customs fees, duties, or taxes may apply for international orders.
